XenServer 5 is here with loads of new features. They have optimized it to work more efficiently with XenApp, improved disaster recovery, lots of VM sorting tools such as tags, and lots more! Check it all out at http://www.xenserver5.com/

Recently, several sources have speculated as to whether or not Microsoft is planning to purchase Citrix. Some sources said that Microsoft would buy Citrix before VMware’s VMworld Conference, but clearly that did not happen. However, it is thought that an announcement, if at all, might be made in the next few days.

Today Citrix has launched their new line of desktop virtualization product. It is available in 5 different editions: free express, standard, advanced, enterprise, and platinum editions.
