Recently, several sources have speculated as to whether or not Microsoft is planning to purchase Citrix. Some sources said that Microsoft would buy Citrix before VMware’s VMworld Conference, but clearly that did not happen. However, it is thought that an announcement, if at all, might be made in the next few days.

Citrix Systems, Inc. announced today the availability of Citrix XenServer virtualization software factory integrated on Dell PowerEdgeTM servers. It will be available in the Express and Enterprise Editions and will be the only virtualization solution to be fully integrated with the Dell OpenManage System Management software.
