Suse Linux on Hyper-V?
I know that I had some problems getting it up and running and from what I have heard/read, I’m not alone. I found a good article that outlines exactly what it takes to get Suse Enterprise Linux 10 SP1 up and running on Microsoft Hyper-V.

The question is… should it really be this complicated?

OpenSUSE 10.3’s install disk does not even boot.
I couldn’t get Ubuntu 8.04’s disks to boot, either. Apparently some people have, though.
If we had a license to try out Windows on Hyper-V I’m sure Windows works great… but until then, I honestly can’t say anything about Hyper-V.
And no… it shouldn’t be so complicated. VMWare is pretty much EXACTLY like a physical computer… I’ve never had any trouble installing or running anything in VMWare.
