Microsoft Adds OS Support to “Legacy” Virtual Products

Microsoft Corporation has released SP1 for both Virtual PC 2007 and Virtual Server 2005 R2.  Why, you may ask with the final release of Hyper-V quickly approaching?  After all, isn’t that going to be the Flagship for Microsoft’s virtualization strategy?  The main reason for these updates is to add support for Microsoft’s current operating systems to these very popular and free products in the meantime; namely Server 2008 and Windows Vista SP1 (and all of the various editions of each).  Downloads for each below:
